Genealogy!
I have worked many years researching my family. In the
course of doing so, I found my father, which is another story (see the
Family Photo Album for details).
My ancestry is, according to my calculations, about 46.9%
German, 34.4% English, 9.4% Scottish, 6.75% Irish, and 3.1% Welsh and
other. I figured this by
listing my ancestors on each branch until they were marrying their own
group (i.e., a Scot marrying a Scot) and assumed that they had done so
for many generations before that.
