Scotland -- ah, the land of men in kilts and haggis. Not interested?
Oh, you poor deluded soul! Scotland is an incredibly beautiful,
rugged country filled with hardy, patriotic souls and mystical
lore.
When I think of Scotland I think of the highlands -- craggy mountains
undulating across the skyline. I think of the lowlands, carpets
of heather covering the history of thousands of years. I think
of the people, with their ready wit and hardy souls. I think of
the islands, with ways and traditions that have been unchanged
for hundreds of years.
