My name is Christy Jackson Nicholas, and I am a travelholic.

No, really, I am! If I am not on a trip, I'm planning a trip, writing a trip report, or making more money for my next trip. I love traveling, and I love researching travel. The fact that I love history and culture just adds to the excitement of each new place I explore.

I have traveled to the British Islands 4 times so far (not counting when I was six weeks old!), and am planning another trip this summer. That doesn't make me an expert, but perhaps there are some tips and tricks I can pass on to others via this site.

I tend to travel on a budget, and have learned some interesting things to do -- and not do! -- on the way. Thank you very much for visiting my site, and welcome!
